Provide comments and recommendations using letters, emails and petitions to some of the individuals listed on our web site requesting their consideration and support.

Federal, state and local representatives for your area and where you enjoy recreation on Lake Texoma.
Federal, state and local government officials.
Outdoor recreation organizations
Watch for Corps of Engineers open public comment periods when the public is requested to provide comments and recommendations on the Shoreline Management Plan and certain other proposed actions that affect Lake Texoma.
The notice periods for open public comment and recommendations are for defined open and closing dates. Be sure to send in you input before the end of the closing dates.
The Corps public notices are posted on their web site and we will try to point them out on this web site if the information is available.

Insist on full public participation and disclosure of needed information.

Serious efforts by developers or others to convert public Corps land for use primarily for private purposes.

Particularly for developer efforts that will cause loss of prime hunting, fishing, boating and other outdoor recreation on Lake Texoma federal land and protected shoreline areas.
